Nigeria, Lagos Issues Travel Ban and No Adoption Visas Issued

As a consequence of the COVID 19 pandemic currently hitting the entire international community, the Federal Govt of Nigeria has just announced travel restrictions into Nigeria from 13 countries including the US starting from 21st of March 2020 for an initial period of 30 days.

In view of this travel ban, letters of invitation for adoption travel to Lagos will also be suspended until the government gives other directives.

Little Miracles (LMI) will not ship dossier documents or post adoption reports at this time to avoid them being caught up in shipping.

Please note that the Lagos adoption office that partners with LMI continues to be open for work activities and all other ongoing paperwork for LMI families  and our families will continue to receive attention.

Last week there was an announcement of the closure of the US Embassy in Lagos.
