Hungary Adoption Temporarily Suspended due to COVID-19

An official government decree, published on Monday, introduces a number of new limitations on how and where people can meet and interact with each other in order to curb the spread of the disease.  New, strict restrictions have come into effect as of midnight on Monday. With the closure of restaurants, cafes, pubs, and cultural institutions, government offices – the new measures affect everyday life in Hungary to a great extent.

Ministry of Human Capacity as of now has stopped conducting adoption work – local as well as inter-country – and only the ongoing cases will be finished.
It is also said today by the government that from Thursday3/19/2020 that no one can leave their house and must stay in self quarantine unless they have a very serious reason (doctor, pharmacy, aliment).
An additional travel ban has been put into place by Hungary.
