Staff Bio
Name:Marina Kuzemina
Title:Head Representative of Kazakhstan Office

My name is Marina Kuzemina.

I was born on December 4th, 1978 in Uzbekistan, where I grew up. I moved from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan to begin my studies. In 2000 I graduated from Kazakhstan State University of World Languages and International Relations with Bachelors Degree in Teaching Russian Language and Literature and English Language as a Second Language. In 2002 I obtained my Masterís in Psychology from the same University. Russian is my native language and Iím fluent in English and Kazakh languages.

I worked as a flight attendant for three years and flew to many countries all around the world. I loved what I did because I like to meet and communicate with people and learn different cultures. This job lead me to begin work for Little Miracles as an Interpreter, then as a Coordinator.

I am now married with two beautiful daughters and live in Almaty.

Iím happy to have been working for LMI since 2002, and proud of my job because it is very rewarding. I assist families during their adoptions in Kazakhstan from the time they arrive until they leave with the child back home. I also am the Head of the Representative Office of LMI. I'm the person in the background making sure that things fall into place. After the adoption is finalized, I continue monitoring each child and submit Post Placement Reports to government authorities during the post adoption period until the child is 18 years old. I truly believe that adoption is a wonderful and amazing way to unite families and help children find their families.
